In recent months we’ve seen growing calls — from the Resolution Foundation and from finance professionals who would stand to gain — to radically shake up the rules around ISAs, with the potential to push millions of Brits into a complex tax system and drastically limit what they’re able to invest in.
I hope you agree with me that this would spell bad news for British savers. It’s vital we maintain this route of simple saving, which has been vital in allowing people to get on the housing ladder.
Will you add your name to the ISA Pledge? This is a commitment that, over the next parliament you’ll act by the following commitments which are vital to protect Britain’s savers:
